| Jaco Mulder |
- Mr. Jaco Mulder was born on 15 January 1964 in Krugersdorp. He matriculated at the High School Monument in 1981. He studied B-Proc at the Rand Afrikaans University (Johannesburg University) from 1982 – 1984 and also later passed his grade 8 exams and teachers license in classical guitar at Unisa. He gives classical guitar lessons at the former cultural centre at the RAU/UJ. He joined the South African Police where he completed 4 years of service at the former South African Criminal Bureau and later at the Pretoria Central Detective Branch and criminal cases.
- He is married to Lynette Botha, a physiotherapist and they have two sons, Adriaan and Daniel.
- In 1989 he entered the business world and since then has been managing extensive business interests, amongst others as a restaurant owner, wine maker and property developer.
- Jaco inherited his commitment to the community and people from his parents who had both been teachers. He was involved in the Voortrekker movement as master scout and head team leader in his commando.
- He became involved in student politics at RAU/UJ and joined the new Conservative Party of Dr. Connie Mulder and later the Conservative Party of South Africa, under the leadership of Dr. Treurnicht.
- He became involved on branch and constituency level as a volunteer and in 1993 he was elected as the West Rand regional leader of the Afrikaner Volksfront. In 1994 he joined the Freedom Front and was later elected as the regional leader of Krugersdorp. In 1999 he was also elected as Gauteng Secretary and on 27 February 2003 as leader of the party in Gauteng.
- Since 2004 he has been a member of the Gauteng Legislature and served on various portfolio and standing committees amongst which Agriculture and Rural Development, Community Safety and Infrastructure.
- He serves on the Executive Management, Federal Management, Federal Council and a number of committees of the FF Plus.
- Outside of party politics, he was elected as National Chairperson of the National Civil Safety and Security Action – an independent, non-profit and voluntary organization which fight crime on behalf of the community at a national level. He is also a member of the Orania Movement (Afrikaner Freedom Movement).
- Jaco is also the strategic committee chairperson of the governing body of the High School Noordheuwel in Krugersdorp.
